Supernova Diesel Electric Gensets are powered by imported Swedish make Volvo Penta Diesel Engines ranging from 85 kVA to 700 kVA. Each Supernova Diesel Electric Genset is manufactured under stringent quality assurance process and undergoes in-house testing. Engine corresponds to ISO 3046, BS 5514 and DIN 6271. The technical data applies to an engine operating on a fuel with a calorific value of 42.7 MJ/Kg(10200 Kcal/Kg) and a density of 0.86 Kg/Liter and as per BS 2869 Part 21998 Class A2 or ASTM D975D2. AC Generator performance corresponds to IEC-34, IS-4722

Prime Power rating corresponds to ISO standard power for continuous operation. It is applicable for supplying electrical power at variable load for an unlimited number of hours instead of commercially purchased power. This is as per ISO 8528.

Rating corresponds to ISO fuel stop power. It is applicable for supplying standby electrical power at variable load in area with well-established electrical networks, in the event of power failure. No overload is available with this rating.

The warranty services shall be offered through authorized Volvo Penta dealers in the respective areas as per the standard procedure of Volvo Penta.

All equipment have a warranty either against faulty workmanship or manufacturing defects for a period of 15 months from the date of dispatch or 12 months from the date of commissioning for unlimited number of hours. This warranty is back to back basis from our respective engine and A.C. Generator manufacturers. This shall however exclude rubber parts and electrical gauges, faults due to mishandling, misuse or improper operation and maintenance.
